Al-Taj News – Egyptian director Khodr Mohamed Khodr, the ex-husband of Yasmin Abu Al-Naga, daughter of retired Egyptian actress Naglaa Fathi, revealed new details about his ex-wife’s death, speaking about her health condition and the medical procedure she underwent before her death.
Khodr explained that Yasmin underwent a supplementary catheterization procedure, despite a warning from one of the Spanish doctors who had been treating her against undergoing the procedure. He noted that the doctor had warned against surgery or catheterization, fearing serious complications that could potentially lead to death.
Khodr Mohamed Khodr wrote a lengthy post on his social media account on Facebook, in which he discussed his relationship with Yasmin and details of their private life, saying: “I am ready to tell you about the secrets of our home that no one knows except those close to us. I can tell you about my marital relationship with Yasmin since we had our first child, what the doctors in France warned us about, and the beginning of the end in September 2024 after 18 years of marriage.”
He also added: “I can tell you about the person who forced Yasmin and me to get divorced, and how we would meet secretly in the street behind the house so that she could return to the marital home again, and we failed again because of coercive power.”
He continued: “I can tell you about Yasmin’s and my calls and messages every day and our visits every week. I can tell you that I got married 13 months after the separation, while Yasmin knew about it and attended the wedding without any problems or psychological distress.”
The Egyptian director also addressed his second marriage, defending his current wife, saying: “My second wife, who was attacked and insulted, is not at fault for anything, just as you attacked Yasmin before when she appeared with me at the El Gouna Film Festival, and bullied her simply because she does not resemble her mother, actress Naglaa Fathi.”
Allegations Regarding the Medical Procedure
Khodr Mohamed Khodr made a shocking revelation regarding the death of Naglaa Fathi’s daughter, speaking about a medical procedure that he said Yasmin underwent despite previous warnings.
He said: “I may tell you about the person who deceived Yasmin and her mother and convinced them that she should undergo a supplementary catheterization at a private hospital instead of the supplementary surgery that the Spanish doctor treating her had rejected, so that she would not suffer serious complications that could lead to death.”
He added that the Spanish doctor had warned against undergoing surgery and catheterization, saying: “This doctor warned against surgery and catheterization, and I also warned her, but she underwent it without my knowledge.”
Death of Naglaa Fathi’s Daughter
Yasmin Seif Abu Al-Naga, the daughter of Egyptian actress Naglaa Fathi and her husband Seif Allah Abu Al-Naga, died last week after suffering an acute heart attack.
The family mourned the deceased in moving words, while her father, Seif Abu Al-Naga, announced the news of her death following the sudden health crisis, noting that the funeral rites and burial would take place that same night after the Isha prayer.
